IPL 2024 Schedule

The latest season of the Indian Premier League, IPL 2024, kicked off on March 22 with the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), facing off against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Prior to the opening match, the BCCI hosted a spectacular ceremony featuring performances by Akshay Kumar, A.R. Rahman, Tiger Shroff, and Sonu Nigam.

In the inaugural match on March 22, CSK triumphed over RCB by 6 wickets, with 8 balls to spare.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that the entire tournament would be held in India and released the full schedule. According to the IPL 2024 schedule, the final match will take place on May 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

A total of 10 teams are participating in IPL 2024: Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans, and Lucknow Super Giants.

The tournament features 10 teams competing in 21 matches throughout IPL 2024. It not only offers a platform for established players to showcase their talents but also acts as a breeding ground for future cricket stars.
